Job Summary:
As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that juices, smoothie bowls, and gourmet salads are prepared efficiently while maintaining product quality and cleanliness. You’ll lead and support team members, handle guest concerns professionally, and foster a collaborative environment where everyone excels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and support team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations
- Ensure all menu items are prepared accurately and consistently following recipes and quality standards
- Deliver outstanding customer service and professionally handle guest inquiries or concerns
- Open and/or close the store following standard procedures
- Monitor inventory levels during shifts and communicate supply needs to management
- Assign tasks and break schedules fairly to optimize productivity and staff support
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both front and back-of-house areas
- Oversee cash handling, POS usage, and register balancing for accuracy
- Train and mentor new employees while setting a positive example for the team
- Address performance concerns and report issues to the Store Manager
- Foster a safe, efficient, and team-focused work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience in food service or retail required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with POS systems and daily shift reports
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Reliable, flexible, and capable of adapting to a dynamic workspace
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
