Job Summary:
As a Sales Associate, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring an outstanding experience from start to finish. You'll take orders, process payments, promote our fresh juices, acai bowls, and gourmet salads, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the counter. Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers with a warm and friendly attitude
- Accurately take and process customer orders using the POS system
- Provide recommendations and information on juice blends, bowls, salads, and specials
- Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and digital methods
- Ensure the register drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of shifts
- Handle refunds or disputes professionally and efficiently
- Neatly package take-out items for customer orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting counter and customer service area
- Restock napkins, utensils, to-go containers, and beverage displays as needed
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations during peak hours
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Basic math skills and keen attention to detail
- Comfortable using point-of-sale systems
- Dependable and team-oriented
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
